PERSHORE NEW TOWN HALL

The project involves the complete reorganisation and extension of a redundant post office building, for a new town centre facility for elected council members and community. The scheme is located off a busy high street, within a conservation area.

A right of way was introduced through the project site linking the high street and medieval abbey. A close visual and physical relationship between public and private domains was essential.

Careful consideration and detailing was therefore also paid to landscaping of this walkway, for example adopting a traditional local form of curved boundary walling.
