The project comprises a 250 seat flexible auditorium for theatre, opera, music and cinema, a dance studio, a double height art gallery and associated front of house and back stage facilities. All this accomodation has been constructed on the site of a former supermarket behind the retained listed facade of a C19th merchants house fronting Pershore High Street, in the conservation area of an historic market town in Worcestershire. The project has enabled the regeneration of a dilapidated part of the town centre whilst maintaining the historic fabricof the High Street and providing the community with a modern multi-use arts facility.
