The scheme involved the creation of a music practice and rehearsal facility for a school and local community to share.

A variety of activities can be held simultaneously with large numbers of participants without conflict either physically or acoustically. The new buildings have been arranged around a cloistered courtyard, which has an
external amphitheatre enabling flexibility in use and an informal setting for classes outdoors.

Free cooling for internal music spaces is obtained by circulating water from the acquifer.
