ST.THOMAS APOSTLE COLLEGE
NUNHEAD, LONDON
Completion 2002
The proposals involved a full re-arrangement, refurbishment and fitting out of the school's ground floor science wing. Five new teaching laboratories were created. Although designated Chemistry, Physics, Biology and General, the layouts were planned to allow a high degree of flexibility in usage. In addition, two new Preparation Rooms were introduced and 'Service Rooms' inserted between laboratories to allow easy and quick change of equipment between lessons.
Construction took place during the school summer vacation of 2001- works were completed, within budget, to the deadline of the new Autumn term.
