ST ANNE AND ALL SAINTS
CHURCH
SOUTH LAMBETH, LONDON
St. Anne and all Saints Church, originally built in 1793 as a Chapel of Ease, was rebuilt in 1958, following bomb damage, with the Church located at 1st floor level above a ChurchHall at semi-basement level, within the former crypt.
The project involved the creation of a new uplifting entrance hall containing the staircase up to the first floor church.
In addition a new community outreach facilities were created at ground and first floor levels to provide much needed meeting rooms/activity spaces in this compact and heavily used inner city church.
