A PAVILION FOR
DULWICH ART GALLERY
LONDON
Competition entry
This 1990's competition entry was conceived as a series
of free standing pavilions embracing a central exhibition hall sheltered by an over arching segmental concrete shell roof.
Corner pavilions contain ancillary services and act as bases for the roof. Projecting pavilions upon each side contain a Foyer/Reception area, a lecture theatre and café.
An internal cloister walkway allows flexibility of circulation with views out into the gallery gardens.
